How often do you look at cars for sale?

Dave, there is no need for you to reply on this thread

I would suggest the BMW used approved web site is one of my most frequented. I'm forever looking at what's out there. I'm still very happy with what I have, but it doesn't stop me from looking.

So how often do you find yourself trawling the adverts to see what's next?

At least once a week, I like to know what prices are doing. Daily, if I am actively looking for a car. SC's 1 isn't in my good books so Tiguans and XC40s are getting a lot of browsing.

After owning a car for about 4 weeks.

Not this time. Iíve deleted the Autotrader app.

    I bloody love it.

Very often at the moment as narrowing down options for a purchase in the future and need to work out how much cash to put aside.

Iím car hunting, so often. Daily. In Ďnormal timesí, I do feel compelled to play with the Autotrader app quite often, just to see what is about.

    Once or twice a week.

When the market for what you want is small, it pays to keep abreast of whats about ..

When I need one, or fancy a change.

Other than that whenever something nice is posted or brought up and I think I'll have a look at what they go for. Then forget about it a day later.

    Daily, numerous times.

You often don't know you were looking to buy a car until you see a car that you need to buy.

Lol! Same as that. Maybe not all day, but certainly in the evening I'll have a little browse. Mostly while my wife watches crap tv.

I'm not as bad as my stepdad. He "popped" to a local auction last night to meet up with a pal and go for a drink after. Came home with a Jaguar 420G.

Only today I've had to convince myself that I don't need these:

The man is clearly a genius.

I always look at cars. New, used, classic. If I'm not looking at them, I'm thinking about them. Great fun.

facebook marketplace keeps recommending cars and I am often on the lookout for the odd project and facebook seems to know this!

However as for looking for personal cars to own / keep - I don't. I think having the Skoda, BMW, little van and the car-transporter is enough for just one person....

    +1.

I practically never monitor car classifieds, so as not to tease myself.
I'd be far better served in selling some of the cars I have, rather than buying more of them...

In addition to the Autotrader app, I have apps for two Japanese equivalents. In Japanese. It all adds to the challenge. And makes it very clear that I'm just window shopping

I'm changing my answer to "Too often" :D.

Contradictally, my instagram and social is full of Porsches and my car searches are all BMW, Volvo and VAG (and Hyundai Kona EVs).

Concluding, I need to revert to Tony and my master-bank-robbery-plan and up my game!

Not very often really, only interesting Japanese stuff that gets posted to the various groups and pages I follow on FB.

Buying and selling cars has lost it's charm somewhat. Anything interesting is daft money compared to the good old days. I'm happy with my lot currently, with no real desire to change.
