Have you emailed the seller to ask if he'll take £2.50 for whatever is under the covers in the garage?

Iíd be tempted to keep the outside as is, but make it ultra modern inside.

I hate cars with stylised patina, but that house must piss of some snooty neighbours and Iíll gladly keep it that way. And probably keep a muscle car on open pipes in the garage.

It is a good job that iím not rich. Iíd be a right obnoxious ****.

I agree. Keep the facade and build a modern steel-frame building behind it. Looking at the other houses in the street, planning for another floor on top should be a no-brainer too.

    Oh, and London prices
If the whole world was filled with just animals and David Attenborough, it would be a beautiful place. Unfortunately, it's been overrun by 7.6-billion assholes.

I think this is for that Kevin McLoud or Charlie Luxton type, who would wank themselves silly if they found a property like this to convert.

An old acquaintance of mine lived at the far end of Pindock Mews (same side as this house, just further up the way) back when I lived in Little Venice.
For a moment there when I clicked on the link and saw the garage I thought it might actually be his house. His garage was in a similarly messy state, with roughly 8-10 motorcycles in it and a zillion spares for everything from a Benelli to a Buell.

Blocking the way into the garage was this old heap of junk...

Now some of you might be looking at the DB5, some of you might be gawping at the Vincent Black Shadow There were two of those, the second being in pieces.
The place itself was clearly worth a fortune but he too lived like a crazy person surrounded by filthy old 'tat', only his tat was worth a shit-ton of money, especially to Japanese collectors. So odd, especially in such a well-to-do part of town with property values going bananas.
