    Random cool cars!

A thread to post your cars that you have photo'd personally on your travels - I have found a few in my Flickr album that I reviewed today so it may be good to share:

Here's Oakie about to take it for a spin
BMW 123D M Sport. Blacked out windows, leaning baaack...

Must be an age thing, I just don't think that is cool.

    This though....

I’d agree. No modern McLaren is cool in my opinion. I’d love to rag one though!

Here's a couple of interesting things I've seen around and about locally recently

If the whole world was filled with just animals and David Attenborough, it would be a beautiful place. Unfortunately, it's been overrun by 7.6-billion assholes.

    Good idea Floyd.

Having not been into my Photobucket a/c in some considerable time,
I had to go through that infuriatiating rigamarole of confirmation emails over and back...

However having gone through the initial few pages of my PB library, I've picked out a few. Whether they're cool or relevant is for others to judge... Will add more to this thread when time and patience permits...

    Me -

Some of you may recognise this Reg. -

    Lastly, Drifter James Deane’s man-cave -

I could spend years in a thread like this.

"Fortunately, I'd taken a spare Gearbox, Turbo, Actuator, Banjo Connector, Steering Rack, Driveshafts, ECU, Wideband sensor, 57-51mm silicone reducing elbow and a Copper Banjo Washer." - Nige

I must take some Renault 4 pics, with their original purchaser still driving.

I should say that these photos will be only 1 per person per day, with the subject being anything 'you' think is cool or like.

Test & Tune session at my local strip, this was an event of road legal cars

Golf - an ineffectual attempt to put an elusive ball into an obscure hole with implements ill-adapted to the purpose

One of the lads that works for me is a proper Landie nut, he had this shipped over to the US to participate in an event there, then shipped it back home. It's a clunky old bus, but cool as

Literately saw nothing of interest in London in the last 24 hours. Heard a few that had potential, right up until I heard the auto box. Didn’t even bother looking after that.

I've got hundreds of photos, but Floyd says we are only allowed one per day.

    Shall I take your allowance?

    De Tomaso?

Took some finding, but I knew I had some photos somewhere.

Not the coolest, but still a bit special.

    A nice oddity that.

Ah, then you should have been clear on the rules from the outset,
    rather than enforcing them retrospectively..

Anyway, randomly spotted and snapped -

    * P.S. - that Pantera is well cool Sim!!

Another from a test and tune night near me, beautiful GTO. Some point a 70 Cuda or 70 Super Bee will pass through my hands, till then just get to enjoy seeing others being used at the strip

This is pretty random. And cool. Spotted at Heathrow Terminal 5 (but not today, or yesterday):

As I think of it, I live in quite the car-enthusiastic neighbourhood -
One neighbour (Lawyer) has a Mk1 VW Scirocco (daily driver), a Triumph TR6, a Triumph Spitfire, a BMW 2002, a Lancia Fulvia...
Another (Undertaker) has a Rolls Royce Corniche, a Bentley Arnage, an AMG Merc. S600, a prestine and fully-loaded Volvo 740se (with 5k on the clock!)...
    Another (I.T. Consultant) has a Porsche 964 911 turbo, and a 996 911 Carrera (daily driver).
Another (Jeweller) has a Range Rover Vogue, and a Shelby Mustang.
    The list goes on...

And then there's me with my beloved old Volvo 940se and VW Passat Tdi...
    where did I go wrong?!
