Thank you all for the interest.

It has got a bit cooler - we'll be using the Wing. The Northloop group will have their own garages...

Price confirmed - 250. It is available the following month for 469 at the same track density and noise, but you aren't expected to take MM blokes out.

Booking mechanism will be online just as soon as I butter up someone with a lovely online booking system.

All sounds rather fun - let's hoping my trip to Afghanistan gets horribly delayed so I'm in the country for it

After seeing the difference which H4H and MM have made to a couple of close mates I see taking some guys out as a definite positive to this - I've never driven Silverstone before and its always been a track I've been plenty happy to miss.

Never having driven it does mean that any passenger laps I give won't be any quicker than the ones I gave at Combe in the MX5 3 years ago

Having said that - now that the Rockingham oval is closed, Silverstone is probably the best suited track for trying to pedal a Dodge Challenger around

    That's sounding great Jim

Always been in the old pits before so that'll be a new experience.

Who else is going to be there besides northloop?

Hotel booked, up for a meal on Sunday evening in the pub

  12. #62
Definitely happy @ 250 given its the full track.

Don't want to set up any of the charity aspects at my end until I am booked on but would aim to raise something toward the cause.

Sunday meal in the Green Inn or whatever it is, on the 3rd Feb, sounds good.

I never drive...genuinely don't feel like I miss out. I'll be your helper for the day.

I hope I get in. Will book as soon as available. The Fabia dealt with a 630 mile roadtrip yesterday fine, but should be interesting to compare to Silverstone.

From the email it sounds like this is going to be a big event, I`m just interested in who else we can expect

This event might be doing my Fabia the world of good. Suddenly I am finding all little things that might prove serious on track, so booked half day to get it checked over, do a bit of prep, get the meth controller working 100%.

The good news is the engine is running, running well, running "clean" (ahem, compared to earlier years....) and power is pretty consistent. It's just a shame its still a crappy 5 door hatch with a pig-iron engine.

Northloop exclusive allocation almost used up - assuming everyone who initially expressed an interest has actually booked already.

    Anyone else want to attend?

Now the prospect of employment has been confirmed, I have done the needful
Simon no longer owes me anything, Dave does though.
Floyd probably owes me at least twenty with the interest rolling up...
