I'm game for this track. Money and time well spent!

MSV, Gold Track and RMA are your likely TDOs for this last time I looked.

If Iain wants some tips on how to defend against faster stuff, I did a handy guide four years ago. It's from 5 minutes onwards

I`ve been looking at the dates for 2019 for this where the TDO has an open-pitlane day on the GP. I`m not aware of any others ?

    Thurs 18th April Goldtrack

    Thurs 2nd May MSV

    Mon 13th May Goldtrack

    Mon 22nd July Javelin

    Fri 13th September Opentrack

    Mon 7th October Goldtrack

As I`ve said many times, I`m very limited to dates I can attend events due to work. Out of all those, the only one I can attend is the Opentrack one on Friday 13th September.

I spoke to Dave (Opentrack) and asked for a discount / garages. No response yet.

Anyone else interested is doing this ?

I’m game for that Stace but I watched from 5 mins on, saw you miss an apex by about 5m ( we used to go round that with the inside wheels in the air over the rumble strips like the touring cars) then waited & looked for the blue flags to indicate a faster car was trying to pass you & saw none..... to be positive your mini does seem to have a bit go about it.

13th September - sounds good to me, thanks for suggesting Alex.
I was looking at some of the Burtonpower days/evenings to tackle in the Fiesta but this is better.

I’ll let my prospective co-drivers know of the dates.

I'd be up for brands GP. But would much prefer a goldtrack day - only because I have a massive credit with them and it's damn expensive

I can't tell you why I missed that apex back in 2014. Probably just a mistake. It happens.

I'm at Zandvoort that weekend. But to be fair I won't be doing any of Dave Woodhall's days.

Overbooked with an excuse to go with it normally. I'm sure it'll be fine but I'm not here for it so it's a moot point really

I'd always be reluctant to do another one of his days. Nice enough chap, one of the more friendly TDO's I've met, which I suspect is part of the problem when it comes to over booking.

FWIW, my experience was from a few years ago.

Brands GP has always peaked my interest so I'll keep my eye on this thread, not cheap is it?!

I know that was a big issue a couple of years ago. Silverstone and cadwell I think? Massively overbooked with people only getting a handful of laps all day.

Last year he said it was addressed and to be honest, I didn't see anything about days being busy in 2018. I did Donington with them in October and even though it was full there were hardly any queues.

As I said, it's the only date I can make this year. If everyone else wants to do a different date instead, that's fine.

If you say itís fixed & not an issue then Iíll go with that.
I only ever manage a handful of laps anyway.

Not that I set out to do that.

Dave has actually totally changed the way he does TD's for 2019 having reduced numbers to stop all of that happening again

No movement on price or garages for this.

Max number of cars is fixed at 90. It was 120 last year but he`s reduced it by 30 to address the issues raised.
