    Right on your sweet spot.
Simon no longer owes me anything, Dave does though.
Floyd probably owes me at least twenty with the interest rolling up...

She owes close to £18k, so it will be a VT job I think. I doubt she would get more on a trade in. They seem to go for £19,995 or there abouts, so I reckon something like £17k against another car.

Yeah it is properly flooded with them, I got £2500 over the GFV on my last M135i, this will be getting handed back end of term.

If someone wants it for the balance, I’d rather them than the dealer have it.

    Reasonable morning out car hunting.

BMW she likes the 3 series Shadow edition and the 4 series grand coupe. Both in budget, as is a 530i saloon strangely enough.

Looked at Mercedes and she felt they were all a bit bling, with the shiny stuff inside - air vents etc etc.

Audi she like the Q3 and was all set up to test drive one when the salesperson asked what she was looking for and we said new. She then explained that the Q3 is shortly due to be replaced - not sure when, but that Audi weren't taking orders for the current model anymore. So that was that out of the window.

VW she didn't see anything which particularly impressed

So the probability is she will lease a 3,4 or outside bet a 5.

Does she have to have a German car ?

Surely with a pcp and handing the thing back and doing it all again, she could get anything and stuff depreciation
If a man speaks his mind in a forest and no woman hears him...is he still wrong ?

She has a 135i at the moment Dave. Yes depreciation doesn't matter when leasing. I would imagine the 5 series has a good residual, hence the decent price to lease. Other wise she wouldn't be able to get near one.

It was good to look around some of the stuff out there, to help her decide what she doesn't want and what's important to her. I don't mind giving a morning up because I like looking at cars and when it's not you that's buying you aren't emotionally attached. Luckily the BMW dealer didn't have an M2 comp in stock, else it might have been a different story

Actually, I had it my head it was October. November I can probably do, providing nothing goes shit shaped with this mother of a deployment.
