    Buying/using laps now

Hi - I've not bought my own laps in a while so can someone in the know provide a nice succinct summary of how it works now please? Probably looking to buy around 9 or 10 laps worth. Might use a lot in weekday evening slots when its quiet, as I'm there for 6 days from next Wednesday to the following Tuesday.

    Merci - I mean Dankeschon

Download the App buy 10 and make sure you link a card to the account. You get a extra lap or 2 by using the app.

Reason I say link a card to it is the app is crap and a pain in the backside when trying to get through the barriers

OK - finally realised buy 10 isn't the name of the app

Greenhell app all setup, but its only allowing me to purchase credit for 30 euro laps, not 25 euro ones at the weekday evenings?? Hmmmm

Simple answer is because it's Friday and they cost 30 come Monday you do the same it will show as 25 a lap

I would log into the dash panel on the computer website far easier to use and buy laps that way. Best do it now before you go. Also then if you've a old card add the code to your account and use that card to spend the laps

Yep - using my desktop PC I can buy laps on the website for midweek, but the lap bonus you were on about looks to not apply. On app, buy 7, get 1 free. Just wish you could pick the type of laps to buy on the app.

I've got a couple of old pre-load cards from around 2011, with some laps and "cash" left on them. I haven't been back since then - Will they still work?

Don't know about that old, but last year I was able to use the 3 or 4 laps I had left on a card from the previous year.

OK, I'll take them with me on our planned trip next year and assume they won't work, but if they do it'll be a bonus.

think back then it was a 3 year expiry date. If you have a green hell account you can add them to it or check the card by using the code on the back

Agree with this! I missed getting on for a late lap on a Friday because it wouldn't work.

Make sure you go to the ticket office (now over the road in the car park by the roundabout) and ask them to give you a card linked your app account. You can then top your card up via the app if you want.

Or you can miss out the whole app admin thing and just get a card at the office :)

I spent near 5 minutes trying to get on one time and I gave up after that as thankfully I had a lap on a card. The track then shut so the next day I went to the boulevard and got them to add a card to my account and used it the rest of the trip without hitch. The QR code is pants

After getting back from my trip tuesday night, I can confirm the QR code on the app appeared to work fine with the barriers once you learned where to hold the phone. Got about 6 laps in, and people on the trip used some of the others. Another awesome week had out there.
