Booked, anyone else fancy it? A few non-NLers booking as well. Perfect for Tony & Spud :D.

Booked the Bedford Marina Premier Inn. We've stayed there a few times and never had an issue with the trailer.

    I'm out.

Just booked a holiday somewhere warm.
Simon no longer owes me anything, Dave does though.
Floyd probably owes me at least twenty with the interest rolling up...

Ace :D, hoping to not get there too late but it's always fun given that distance + a trailer + work + trying to remain married.

I'll aim for 7-8ish. The dream is to have everything done and dusted and leave just before lunch.

    It's only 25 miles away

If I can sort out my brakes this week, I'll book on too.
If I could have all the money back I have wasted on cars, I would waste it on a car.

Plans are looking to change for Friday now so unlikely to arrive for food.
Looks like I have to be in central London in the morning till lunchtime.
Train home, collect trailer then load car up etc
Should be there for a late beer

Saturday looks cold but dry currently...

Cool, keep me in the loop. Clio is clean on the outside and spanner checked.

Just screenwash, glass/plastic and inside to sort + load on the trailer.

Hoping to set off just after lunch.

Looking forward to this now :D! Gone past the OMG what if the Clio breaks and all the hassle/thanks to a good few hours on it last week.

I haven’t even thought about prepping the VR6
Check fluids and tyres, fill it with fuel, drive 300 miles to Bedford, lap faultlessly, drive 300 miles home. That plan will work right?!!

I’ve taken Friday off so will set off after lunch too so will definitely be there for food.
Look forward to beer/talking shite with Ian too

Just realised this is my first track day in five years........ looking forward to it

Good to see you albeit briefly Si
Great to catch up with Olly and Ian too .

What a cracking day. A perfect introduction to TDs for Harry. Fairly clear lapping, clear and dry weather and not too many arseholes - except Olly of course!
Paid for a few tuition sessions for Harry and he was lapping very smoothly and quickly by lunchtime. The real revelation was the VR6. GREAT fun, decently quick and has proved completely reliable unlike the Clio......
Totally worth the 600 mile round trip but I fear I have created another TD addict in the family....

I'll do a proper write up tomorrow.

Bloody brilliant day with the Elise.
Great weather and a good test track.

First proper time driving it in the dry at pace.
    Love it!!
    So communicative!!
Some fun laps with Tony in the bargain vr6 which I hopefully have on video.
Never managed to get out with Olly, or him with me, better luck next time.

    Harry certainly enjoyed himself
