    Destination Nurburgring 2018

The 2018 dates have been released. Damn, they are bloody inconvenient this time

    http://www.destination-nurburgring.com/

    Friday 25th May 2018 - #DN19

    Monday & Tuesday 27th & 28th August 2018 - Ringmeisters Prime

    Thursday & Friday 27th & 28th September 2018 - #DN20
. Circuit Days have 2 days at Spa on the 1st and 2nd October which whilst nothing to do with DN, does make that a very appealing trip.

Prices and booking information to be released shortly

I can make the August 2 day Ringmeister event and DN20 but sadly not DN19 or the Spa days after DN20

Who else is planning on attending ?!

    At least one of them.
Simon no longer owes me anything, Dave does though.
Floyd probably owes me at least twenty with the interest rolling up...

Hopefully looking to DN20 and possibly stay on for Spa, although that might be pushing it

    More expensive...

I think they have fewer cars and possibly more relaxed overtaking rules.

That is also a good plan

I take it you can have a choice of 1 day or 2? (awaits back lash for the stupid question)

As Always wanted to do a DN & Also can look into a Spa day then and its 2 on 1 trip. It would also help me learn from all the more experienced chaps knowledge

Maximum 120 cars, overtaking either side with consent.

The best tracktime on the Ring I've ever had. Which is saying something seeing as I've never done a DN event and thought 'Hmmm, this is too busy' well apart from the bad one the other year but numbers will never be that high again

You can only book a single day if the event doesn`t sell out.

That hasn`t happened for a few years now, every event has had a reserve list so it`s highly unlikely you can book just one day

Does this mean you are actually going to attend and DRIVE a trackday ?!?!??!

In my own car for a change - Yes (I've been a busy boy)

I am tempted to just stick to the UK and learn / iron out teething issues this year mind and 2019 go overseas. Will see.

Start early and plan for the October DN then.
Simon no longer owes me anything, Dave does though.
Floyd probably owes me at least twenty with the interest rolling up...

I’ll most likely do a late one, gives me chance to buy a new car in spring/summer.

    Is Bilsterberg on??

This is now my fourth 'Season Ticket'

The dates that Darren has negotiated make this the least expensive yet in terms of time off work

However, I have now spent more money with Ringweekends Ltd than I have buying cars during my entire lifetime...

A word of warning - I wasn't able to book my first choice of accommodation for DN19, so don't leave it too long before making reservations

As much as I want to run mk1, think I will be taking the M3 Nige. It needs to earn its keep somehow and I am keen to see how it is back there after the changes over past two years.

Hi Jamie - keen for Spa and good prices for the days on 1st/2nd Oct, only problem is there is a bit of hanging about over the weekend and all adds to the cost with extra accommodation etc.

Another option is the RMA day at Spa on the 25th Sept, so is a day clear between start of DN20.

There is a few of us from Aberdeen keen to go, so think we are going to get booked for the ring first, then make a decision on whether we do Spa also

yeah thats a fair point, I think I'm gonna head out and arrive for the 2nd day of DN20, Most likely just PAX laps unless i put the hours in at work, May rent something for a couple TF laps at the weekend then head over to Spa for the double header. I had considered just heading out for Spa then doing the Skylimits Ring day the following monday, But as you said it adds up with accommodation etc.

Will be @ D.N.20 in September.
Also hoping to incorporate the Spa track-days in that trip!
Not sure what car we'll be using yet, but we have several options...

Can't wait to get back to the 'Ring, after a 6 year absence..!!
