Iíll share a garage with someone.

Is there a hotel for this yet?

Iíll have the fish starter, burger for main and the ice cream sundae for dessert.

Aren't you coming to the 2018 planning session ?

( we just call it an xmas do for the sake of the wives.. )

I'm going to try and revisit some tracks I haven't been to in a while, (cadwell, oulton and anglesey) as well as Spa and a DN, maybe a goodwood and thruxton too.
Simon no longer owes me anything, Dave does though.
Floyd probably owes me at least twenty with the interest rolling up...

The dates currently listed don't really work for me and the Rockingham one in early April wouldn't be any good as I'll be on my way back from 2 days at Spa

I'm still watching the TDO sites to see what else comes up.

    Brilliant

Something early Spring would be nice, I did look @ the CD site but nothing jumped out.

Nick can book the Anglesey Arms for the meal, then it doesn't matter which trackday we do.

I was looking at that for his weekend. We were intending to go to Coombe but it sold out before I booked..... decided against Lyneham as it will be my sonís first track day so wish to do a proper track rather than a runway with cones.

Put a tow bar on it and tow a small caravan there to use as your base for the day.

Shitty airfields** are a good venue to get it wrong, you normally only hit some cones and go grass cutting. Combe and Thruxton will both punish a mistake.

** By shitty, I mean they’re not prepped tracks as such

    That's a very good point.
My innocence leads me to think about sharing but the dark side I guess is you could lose half of it that way.
    Frightening.

Combe FTW. Just tell him to take it easy - so long as he doesn't barrel into Quarry too hot he'll be fine.

Lyneham would be perfect for a first go! Castle Combe there is more chance of an off. Thruxton there is more chance an off will be FASTER

Thruxton is rapidly becoming a fav of mine. However, it's only fun if you can go fast. Otherwise, you spend the time not really appreciating how technical it is and having to keep out of the way of the fast stuff.

Go for an airfield first. Then Combe. Then Thruxton. Then sell the Golf and let him loose in the MXV8.

Thruxton also perfect for the Cayman, if you wanted to 'legally' stretch its legs sometime.

I'm doing Thruxton in June. I haven't done it since I added the turbo. It was fast when it was n/a!

To get her mitts on half of that with a value of well I hardly dare whisper the stratospheric worth of such a creation that in an impending divorce scenario is her, with obvious typical female cunning, just playing the long game.

Personally, it`s not suitable. I`m working and it`s under a week before I leave for Spa so it isn`t a date I could attend but if everyone else can, go for it
