Facebook advertising is very good though, you can set audience and budget which seems cheap, if you can make sure reviews are always going to be good then very good for advertising.

Year 2 done and dusted. Had another good year and managed some small upgrades on the unit. This year I'm planning to extend up stairs and move some bits around. Place needs painting again and some extra lighting fitting.

It's not changed much at all. Most of crap I had on shelving is now up stairs out of the way. I'm extending up stairs to 22ft long and 7ft wide for an office and storage. It's half done like most things I take on .

Upgraded the lights to LED type. Much brighter and cheaper to run. Iíve also ordered a pin welder from the snap on van. Itís £730 and will make life much easier.

I thought this thread was an amateur start at being a DJ or something.

Good stuff Stan. Glad it's working out. Plenty of lease expiry cars coming in for a refresh before being returned I bet.

I take it the pin welder allows you to secure studs to a panel, so you can pull it out before cutting the stud off and refinishing the panel?

Cool. Investing (yes - it genuinely is an investment) in tools is normally rewarding.

The pin welder arrived today. What a bit of kit it is too . Takes seconds to weld pins to the panel. I love it . Shame it cost a small fortune 😃

Got fed up of borrowing Gazís mig welder so Iíve been looking at buying one for a while. Managed to find a TECARK231 in great condition with new gun pipes and fittings. Bargain at £420 with a 3 month warranty. While Iím on holiday my pals are going to refurbish the unit from top to bottom. Painting the floor and walls and a general tidy up and put away. Itís not been painted for close to 5 years.
