Today I felt pleased with myself that I kept an MTBer at bay on a gnarly climb up a steep hill on my road bike. It was only when he swung into view (as I rested at the top) that I noticed the single-speed setup of his bike...

    The goldfish is still alive.

We got him a new tank before we went on holiday and put him in it literally the day before we came away. He seems fine though.

Adding a cheeky tele to the home office. And then hiding it so I can hear the footy but not get distracted by it.

Phone call from client in London who recognised my dialing code as Exmouth "Oh, I used to live there a long time ago" - I looked out the window of my office to observe the sea lapping on the beach, and on Dawlish warren opposite, I smiled and thought, "f**k London" - I liked that, and totally unimportant really!

Realising there's some football tournament on and I don't have to endure it endlessly on the tv and in the media for the next month.

Remembering I'd taken the Blu-Tac blobs out from between my stand-mount speakers and my speaker stands during a recent kit-rack audition, which is why it was sounding rubbish having gone back to my original rack.

Replaced the Blu-Tac and all sounds fab again
