    The arrival of the weekend.

    Finished at 2pm.

Taking quite a while to wind down from a 'tough' week.

    Non stop.

Ikea frozen yoghurt - makes a trip to their store slightly more bearable.

The ability to legally turn right on a red traffic light if there's nothing coming. So simple, but genius.

The conference centre I was at today for a meeting had a power cut so they couldn't cook lunch in the kitchen

So they did a BBQ for lunch

My phone was ringing and I was in the middle of something so couldn`t take the call. Was about to lower the volume / cancel the call when Mat told me to just turn it face down. It mutes the incoming call.

    I never knew that.

Showed Stace today, he didn`t know about it either.

Booked my march out from leuchars today. 3 Jul. we take over our next house in Melton Mowbray on 19 Jun. The house is shyte and tiny but we'll be down south. A 1.5 or 2.5 hr drive from the grandparents seems like nothing.

I've made a decision this week. I'll be leaving the army in a little over 2 years with a healthy lump sum and instant pension. 15 months until I can give my 12 months notice!!!

Summer in the city, and at lunchtime all the office ladies are out and about - very distracting when you're driving.

Moved house 10 days ago. Had a steam train run past the end of the garden last Saturday and 6 Dexter cattle now grazing in the field.

    Happy days.

I saw an E30 BMW in Calgary this morning with a UK front number plate. I've seen a few European cars with German and Swedish front plates, but this is the first British one I've seen. Made me smile .

Witness a work colleage make a tit of himself today

He was talking to a fit young lady on a customers site we work on, about her leaveing and starting a new job next week. But instead of saying I'll pop up stairs next week and say goodbye later. He ended up saying what he was thinking, I'll pop upstair next week for a snog later.

Still can't stop laughing about it, can't help the happness I get from my colleage embassesment
