They certainly did. The barrel roll from one of them was a decent watch, something I don't think the TV cameras caught.

Picked up a used Netgear AC3200 R8000 X6 router from a guy I found locally on Facebook Marketplace.

Painless transaction, seems a nice bloke and the router works perfectly. Signal strength seems better

He has quite a lot of IT stuff he's selling. I suspect more ££ will be going his way soon

Protected the new wheels with gtechniq C5 sealant. Jamie highly recommended it to me.
    Should hopefully make cleaning easier.

C5 is awesome stuff. Lasts for a good 6 months and as you say cleaning is much easier with it applied

    A very nice feeling Gary.

Got the upstairs of our project carpeted today...felt like a huge leap forward. 4 weeks work left to finish the actual house..then for the outside...

You know the scene in Johnny English Reborn where his office chair gets out of control?

I was in an international video conference meeting this morning where I managed to kick the pneumatic release lever with my heel. While I was presenting. What a muppet.

Few weeks ago I applied for a job at BMW on a whim and had a interview. They where cagey over money and a few other things. Long story short I got the job.

Then declined it due to many things

Dipped beam failed on the Volvo this week. Opened the bonnet expecting an afternoon of taking it apart from the tailgate forward to get to the access panel .

Turns out you pull 2 pins from the slam panel and the whole headlamp unit pulls out from the front. Both sides done in 10 mins. Mega.

    Thank you Volvo..

After sacking the estate agent for being utter shite, no customer service skills, 1 viewing in 3 months and asking us to drop £50k in this time I handed a contract to a new agent today with a key. I hadnt even got home (5minutes ish) and they where calling to say they have 2 viewings booked this week.

Nothing may come of it BUT its still a move in the right direction to get feedback on the house, price etc!

Found a little bit of snow today amongst the Rock and blue sky. Oldest boy stayed home for a day of revision, so just the three of us enjoyed this small pleasure. Not another soul to be seen for as far as the eye could see - and that was pretty far! I know a few people were trying to reach me today. Apologies, the phone signal is somewhere between poor and non existent in these parts

I will be contacting people next week, I promise

Same bit of snow in the above picture, viewed from the top of a different hill. The patch of snow on the right is the one my wife and child were stood in. The hill with the snow on is Great Gable, 8th highest in the Lakes I believe.

It has been unbelievable Dave! We watched the rain front out to the west of Ireland threaten every day for the first week, but it held off. We do come here quite a bit. Easter last year was snow. A couple of feet of it above a thousand feet. That was great fun in itself, but the sun this year has been lovely. I'm a bit pink on my exposed parts!

Sitting in the campervan here in the highlands (with 4g !)reading about other folk getting on with their track plans left me feeling a bit gloomy.

So I had a bit look on eBay & found a decent manifold set up for the V6 which is normally £376, made an offer & all was paid for the time R was in the shower. price paid including delivery £85

So that should be enough to do the install & potter away at the rest of it.

Need to make a management decision soon though.
