I`d hope this could be an ongoing NL challenge. Over the summer, we went to the new Kart centre. Paid 11 Euros for 10 minutes in the new Gas karts and had a great time. :thumb:

After the 10 minutes, you get a time printout.

I`m suggesting a NL league table of times. We need some trust here, it has to be on your FIRST visit and on your FIRST 10 minute session. If you go 6 times and get the fastest time, well, thats just cheating and not in the spirit of this challenge.

Here are the times so far:

1. Gary 32.855
2. Karl Rowntree 33.058
3. Sam 33.568
4. Andyb 33.720
5. Dale 33.728
6. Nige 33.823
7. Matty 33.942 (Slower than his dad )
8. Prawn 34.178
9. Jorg 34.712

Why don't we submit photo evidance of the time sheet you get after each run?

If you've been before this should be mentioned .

Is there a handy cap system for different weights as light weights will have an advantage :D

Helmets are free...they charge you for the Balaclava which you keep...so for 2 euros you get a cheap and cheerful Bally. :thumb:

Or, you can take the ones from the Schumacher karting if you are really tight

Do they have Kart's for 8 year olds? for example moveable seats and pedal adaptors?

Thinking about a trip over next year sometime with my boy Reece.

Bah  by the time I get there, the karts will be worn out by Nige and therefore useless :fishing:

When we did the Shuey centre karting, my first session put me in an amazingly quick kart but the second was really slow...

Ah the excuses-in-early technique :D

But it's true, the tyres will be the main factor, wonder how often they change them!!

i'm guessing you need one so you don't get a lot of manky heads in the borrowed helmets?

When i went to schumachers the buggers sent me out on brand new tyres which were as slippery as eels took... at least six laps to scrub them in.

But then did a lap in 47 secs (the indoor section) don't know if this is slow or fast

Can´t we do a "trying hard but still being slow" competition. I think I could be quite good in this case, ´cause I´m with Jörg in his weight/lap time opinion!

Loved the Karting this year, but considering I'm 18 stone, I didn't stand a chance against the skinny bastards I was with!

Came 3rd to two guys who were 8st and 10st.

Just got back, really enjoyed the new track and the karts go well.

I did a best of 33.058, so close to breaking the 32's. Someone had done a 31 the day I was there!
