I'm back in the Gym tonight so long as they let me back

Some light weights to ease back into it and then sprints.

Plan is:

Monday - Weights + Sprints
Tuesday - Cardio
Wednesday - Weights + Sprints
Thursday - Cardio
Friday - Weights + Sprints
Saturday - Cardio
Sunday - Cardio

My cardio will consist of either running or cycling. I also have trials for a local American Football team at the end of the month :thumb:
Err, I'd advise rest periods. Seriously. When I used to train *hard* as I was competing, we werent allowed more than 4 days training a week, with a day of rest inbetween each day. Most weeks we would have 3 days training, 3 days rest inbetween and then a half day of physio... I wouldnt do 7 days a week of relatively hard exercise, you'll never allow your body time to repair/build itself back up.

Where is The Vee - isnt he some sort of personal trainer type??

Bought a pair of Valentino jeans today like said article but lighter:

But, 1 size to small. The aim is to get into them by the end of Spring. Lost 1 pound so far by eating more salad. Yay.

£175 !!!!! :o :o

Feck that :nono:

I did a 4+ mile boot run this morning. It was on the cross country driver training area :cameron: which is fecking nails at the best of times (combine deep sand, mud and feck off hills) but this morning we also had to contend with 8" of slushy snow.

Fecked is an understatement.

as I said before low carb diet!

we have a diet in germany its called `schlank im Schlaf´ wich means `slim while sleeping´ sounds strange, but its more about the eating...
never found it for england, strange... think they call it `Pape diet´

I have some friends, just by changing theire eating habits loosing kilos kilos and kilos. 3 of them lost more than 20 kilos last year and one even 29!!!

you eat JUST carbohydrate in the morning (bred, marmelade, schokolate ;) all this...

than 5 hours break... just drinks, but not sweetned

lunch you can eat what you want, maybe not to fatty, but still what you want also dessert.

again 5 hours break....

and in the night just proteins... meet, fish, salad (or better NO carbohydrates)
thats the most important, since the carbohydrates in the night fill up your fatdepots.

simple as f.... :thumb:

give it a try at least like I do it after 1400h now carbohydrates.

by the way, this is no advertise :P
taste life, its delicious!

Weighed in today at 106kg.

Sticking religously to the healthy diet. Exercising 4 times per week for at least 30 mins.

Lovely.

Now at a 'solid' 106kg - i.e. Evening weight.

Hopefully will be 105kg by end of the weekend if it goes to plan.

i am

5' 10"
weight 16 stone 11 lbs

Sorry don't know the kg

I am very embarrassed at being so overweight 10 years of no exercise & drinking, I should be 12 stone according to the doctors.

I have lost a few pound since cutting back on wine this year, hopefully can get down to 15 stone one day.

Eat better and exercise.

It's simple.

Keeping the motivation to keep the exercise up, and the commitment to keep eating well...........those are the tough parts.

If you do that, then it doesn't take long.

I've lost 1.5 stone in a month doing this.

For example I normally make lunch these days, but on Fridays I often go to Pret.

I used to buy a normal sized sandwich, a soup and a couple of bits of fruit.

Now I've been buying a single sandwich (i.e. Pret Slim = One slice of bread), and three pieces of fruit.

Evening meals, cooking out of a healthy cookbook and eating appropriate portions.

It's easily done if you stick to it.

Oh, and cut out the beers!

I've had five glasses of red wine since new year...........

It's a bit of a snoreathon, and gets annoying at times not just eating a whole chocolate orange (!) but it pays off.

6' 5"

18st 12oz, which is 120kgs, I think - the heaviest I have ever, ever been!

Now that I have the all clear after 3 month illness and further 3 month recovery, I'm on the case.....

My Golf is 191bhp with the 2.0 9a and I was talking to a mate about getting it over the magic 200bhp..... throttle bodies, aftermarket ecu, etc, etc, very expensive.....

So, decided I could save the money on the upgrades, lose 3st (20kg's) and go faster!

I'll keep you posted!

TC.

Good work Gary!!!

I went to Bournemouth last night and despite being ripped to shreds for not drinking, I stuck to it and had only two beers, and the Tikka option (i.e. No creamy sauce) for our curry.

I was ridiculed but I'm happy and hangover free today!!!!!!

35. #85
Still no beer for me this year, and it doesn't bother me one jot.

Just got back from another jog. 3 Days running now (no pun intended  )

I was 95kgs back in 2002. Lowest I hit was 66kgs in 2003.

Started at 70kgs at the start of 2009, got upto 74kgs by start of this year after doing some proper training in the final few months.

Having a break at the moment but I might aim for 80kgs for this year?

January has been a brilliant detox month for me. Not as much running/cycling/weights, yet one full week of holiday drinking, and three birthday weekends of 2010 so far...
Closing lap, Goodwood:

Shak: How about one more slow lap, just talk me through it?
Oakie: Yeah OK, I'll just stick behind Dan.
