What another fantastic weekend, I still owe you the write up of the passenger lap in the 997 Cup (it was ok).

But im very proud with the news of today as "my boy" Stian Sorlie has taken his 8th class and group victory of the year and as such has taken the "VLN rookie of the year" title.
(I guess you could call it deserved considering he is quicker than Stuck, Hurtgen, Henerici, in the same car ...)

I hate to see the season end, but if there is a fitting one, this is it!

Of to the party!

How did Lasse get on?

He was happy about the car, well set up and it was quicker than it felt.

During qualifying there was oil at Wehrseifen when teammate was driving.
He kept well to the right, away from the oil trail.
Matador Porsche took this as an invite to overtake.
Went for it on the inside, lost it on the oilspill ... and drove into the BMW from behind, pushing it straight into the armco.
Both cars were too damaged to race.

Speaking of which, Helmut Bolz (whom you met in pitlane) told me there is an English spoken license course on 7-8 November.
