Hello Foolks,

I do have a ring report. hehe, it is in dutch, as usual. And this is the link

It is on my BLOG and you can find it under the header Ring stories.

BLOG (http://blog.e30-ringteam.nl/)

But for the people who cant read dutch, I will try to write some words in english.

Well we went on saturday aroun 08.00 to germany and picked up the car at TTE. We had a nice chat with Marc and Brigitte. After that we went up to the Ring were we met with Dave and Bob. We build up our new Gazeebo. Which is so much easier then the last one. Great thing. After checking the car, we could go for the day.
And then it was time to make a few laps. So, we went out and had a great lap. But on the control panel there was a light and I couldnt see what. So, we went of the track and checked it out. It was the screenwashwaterlevel. :P So no reason for panic. But I was sick and tired for seeing lights half. So I put the panel somewhere I can see it without porblems.

We met some Elise riders, and some other people from here. MR. Teflon we saw on the track and beside. It was a very pleasant day. There wasnt much traffic, but some moveable chicanes and some didnt know how to drive. That gave me some scary moments, but nothing serious happend. Great day.

We went to dinner with the Elise gang, together with Bob and Dave and it was great fun. Great bunch of fellows they were. Thanks for the evening.

The next day I had to replace my front brake pads. They wernt worn of totally, but I didnt want to change them during the day. So replace them. And that was the sign everybody waited for. So all day long my tools, car jack and sometimes my small amount of knowledge were used to get the cars back on track. So it was a very busy place there on the gravel parking lot opposite of the entrance.

At last we met with Bren, Lucky and ..... Damned hell and F**** I forgot always names. But anyway, it is nice to have faces with the names. Even when i Forgot the names.

We had a great moment when we hunted down a grey Lambo Gallardo at schwedenkreuz, wanted to pass him at aremberg, tried to pass him in fuchrohre, but he didnt want that. He thought he was faster then that slow BMW behind him. So, in Adenauer Forst, I used with great enthousiasm my horn and passed him in front of the crowd. And waved goodby when I went of to metzgersfeld. Bye bye
I had a great time, he didnt as far as Frederique could see.

Well, we had so much fun that day. And that made the weekend so fantastic.

At last we stopped and went to let the car at TTE and went for a dinner to the PK. We met up with Bob, Dave came later, after a Dave second of time and some of the Elise guys. Unfortunally we had to leave for home. So, all the Elise guys, thanks and see you again.

Well for some pictures, just have a look at the BLOG and see you all next sunday. Just come around for a chat at the Gazeebo.

Greetz from .... ehh, whats my name again? O yeah, its .....Robert

Hi Robert

I only saw your car once - I was exiting Kleine Karussell, you were entering Galgenkopf. :D

On that same lap, you overtook me on the exit of Galgenkopf (or was I a passenger in Thorleif's car? )

Robert

Hi Floyd,

So you would like a pax lap, which means I have to give up my seat. Let me think.......
Uhmm........... I don't think "hey there sweet cheeks" will exactly do the trick.

If you can organise me a lap in a Porsche GT3RS with a driver that knows the Ring, I will be more than happy to give up my seat. :P (maybe even for two laps)

Then again, as Robert mentioned, I am a woman, so really into shoes. For a pair of really nice shoes I will give up my seat as well (for one lap only ofcourse).

Let me know which option you think is best :)

I'm not quite sure that I have the same size as Simon. I'll go for the lap with the GT3RS

Robert

noooooo, no more shoes, otherwise I have to buy also a new pair. We challenge eachother who is having the most pair of shoes. And I am winning.

I can get you a lap in a GT3 RS but it's with the slowest driver, ever

nice report Robert,
thanks for getting your hands dirty and changing my rear brakepads and thanks for the pax laps (Floyd, just behave and smile :P )
real good week-end, best day was Monday !!!
good weather and very little traffic on the Ring. I had my left rear wheelbaring changed monday morning (Ring conveniently closed till 14.00 or so) and did some good laps taking bikers around.

nice tent, maybe you should get some side curtains for privacy
