Just to show Dave's project management skills!

As you may or may not know, we went camping for 10 days over Easter and stayed at camp Northloop. We took the Clio and after a new bearing and failing brakes, Dave decided to make some brake cooling ducts. He bought some tubing from Ring Racing and set about the job.

After an hour, he still hadn't got them quite right. "Nigel will sort it out when he gets back, he's good at things like this" says Dave. Nigel unfortunately was off sorting some stuff of his own out.

Eventually, Nigel turned up and started to have a look at the job in hand. Dave moved out of the way so Nigel could see the problem a bit better. :)

In the end, they decided it wasn't going to work and had a good laugh at wasting a couple of hours!

Anyway, this story is probably better with pictures, so here they are:

Aye, it was a shame it didn't work. He hasn't put my fog lights back in either! :D

It's not a straight forward job as I found out and it can take some time to get right.

Been there, done that. The inner arches have to be cut and then there is still issues with clearance on full lock.

If you still want some let me know.

They removed the plastic arches altogether - Hollie had to spend the whole journey back from the Ring with them falling on her head! They're a funny shape to pack properly!

Where did you get all the stuff from Pye?

Aluminium inlets from Demon tweeks, hose from auto factors, i made the gause from stainless stuff, painted. Then i just cut the inner arches etc and fitted them up.

Good idea to put the mesh stuff over the front to stop all manner of crap hitting the discs!
