View Full Version : Matty's first ring report.

I enjoyed mostly going to Germany because it is very fun going for passenger laps with people.

The most passenger laps I had were with Steve Gill - I felt that this was the quickest car that I have been around the ring in , also the csl sounded beautiful under full power. I wish my dad could afford one.

I also had 2 laps with Nick (leavingeasy) - quite quick, but YOU need to go even faster

I had some as well with Dave_cant_drive – I felt very secure in this car and the car seemed to stick to the road.

I had another lap with Simon – This is the first time I have been out in a Scooby and it seemed very powerful out of corners.

I also had laps with Dave and Clare – Dave was the fastest and smoothest of the two, but Clare was the chattiest of them.

I had a few with AlClark – I thought that Al’s car was the fastest around most corners.

I had one lap with Mr Teflon – In Mr T’s car it was warm and cosy.

And one with Ian Howell – I think that having a turbo made a big difference to this car, compared to my dads.

Several of my laps were with Steve W – the most educational laps I have are with him, he was teaching me corner names this year but last year he was teaching me the meaning of some corner names.

I enjoy camping because we have fire - which Clare and I are obsessed with. Also it is fun because you have to cut up the wood with the new bow saw and splitting axe.

Doing camping also allows you to have barbeques, which we had, the sausages and steaks tastes beautiful when cooked on an open fire.

Unfortunately my dad crashed his golf on Monday and this stopped us going around the ring in the golf. Since he did this I had to get even more passenger laps, and I would like to thank the people who gave them to me.

We then had to move the golf off Nicks trailer and put it back on again the other way around for towing. We all got our instructions from Dave who was telling us all what to do.

I was the winch man, Dave was the foreman, and all the other adults pushed.

Another thing I like is going to the Rodelbahn. I enjoy going here because it is fun trying to go down the fastest. Ian and I were going for the quickest lap but had a little fall.

It is also really fun here because you can feed the animals and go in with them.

I really enjoyed coming to Germany because of all the reasons listed above, I would also like to thank all the people who gave me laps.

Hope to meet some other people at spring bank and get more passenger laps.

Any offers???
