Reading through various threads it appears that this is a good mod on an E30. The non M Z3 has the quickest rack of all and is pretty much a direct replacement.

If anyone sees or here's of one, let me know please.

Cheers

Gary

For what reasons are you choosing a Z3 over an E36 rack...?

I never did one, I'm just curious. (Not 'Bi-Curious') Before someone suggests...

No reason other than the fact the z3 non M version is the quickest rack bmw do which will fit with easy other than a couple of extra washers.

Anything has got to be better than the current oil tanker turning capability though ;)

My E36 M3 steering rack is akin to a tiller too  . There isn't a Group N upgrade so apparently the Z3 is the quickest available

From experience Quarry's parts list is out of date so it is worth ringning them when you actually need it ;)

The E46 compact rack is also a good upgrade, a tad slower than the Z3 rack but easier t get hold of.

It's also worth trying here www.m3spares.com the guy is very good and above all his parts are decent and he is honest.
