Who did the Fastest lap Was it the Other driver? and what time did the car now do with your new found power did it make a lot of diffrence

Do you have a Dyno to test power out puts. I see you have made a number of refs to Power in HP/PS before!

Do you need a race licence to drive the ring then???
No one ever told me that

Jamie races in the VLN race series, rather than tourist laps like the majority of us do.

Lots of questions!:)

The BHP will be tested when the car comes back to England shortly. It was 189 (stealth rollers)BHP when it went to the ring on a tight engine and gearbox. We have made many mods over the season and I know the car has more power. Anyone is welcome to see the car dyno at stealth when it gets back.

The fastest lap of the race (report updated by the way) and actually a lap record for the car was set by Colin Hays which was a 10.39.998 (including short GP circuit). I don't know what this is BTG but low 8's is my guess.

Getting podiums in VLN races has a lot do do with the team, preparation, pit stops, tyre choice, run of luck and then finally the pace of the drivers. It is actually very rare that the pole sitter actually wins the race as they usually go out with mechanical failier.

Colin deserves a huge pat on the back for an outstanding effort. Well done Colin!! :thumb:

Hey Guys,

Check out the front left tyre on this video of the pit stop where I took over from Colin!

Don't buy Matadoor Slicks! They last 8 laps!

Red fox! this is green squirrel reporting in!

good report fella and I hope you picked up the de walt from Marco ok.

I got some funny looks with the package on the train ;-)

had a good trip out there the week before.

just got back from an afternoon sesion at bedford and the CSL was a riot with traction off! must gett some cups as it will be so quick on them

std brakes seem to hold up though reckon you would fry them in 2 laps mate!

going to do pads, lines and fluids next I think.

categrically no way red fox! it has just come back from the dealers with some warranty work done and I don;t want to take it back again with the gearbox, diff and wheels hanging in all directions after a martin session!!

:thumb: and well done on the last race turn out.

Karl,

Thats an old old car that we actually don't own anymore but the new owner decided to leave the livery on!

The driving skills of the new owner are not up to Auteg standards by the way!!!!

The guy driving thinks he's really fast but is a foot off every apex, turns in two early and is the most un-teachable person i have ever sat next to in a car!

He's the sort of person who won't even question what he's doing wrong when he puts it on its roof!

I think you all know the type guys!! :thumb:

He was standing with Steve G in the car park, he is on here as a reader not poster, as 'Harty'. He knows a guy I know called Gus also.

He overtook me on my first trip, and this trip I overtook him.
