Back to the 5 cylinder turbo :thumb:

Engine Sound (http://www.fourtitude.com/blog/tt_rs_engine_sound.mp3)

When it premieres in Geneva next month, the Audi TT RS will arrive in both coupe and convertible bodystyles. Both are powered by a 340-horsepower, 331 lb-ft, 2.5-liter turbo five cylinder. The driver rows a six-speed stick, and quattro channels power to all the wheels. 0-62 mph takes under 5 seconds. As the teaser shots hinted, look for more aggressive front and rear fascias, LED driving lamps, and a fixed rear spoiler. As with other RS cars, the brakes and suspension are also beefed up.

The Mk2 TTs are based on the Mk5 Golf Gti chassis and consequently are supposed to handle too :thumb:

The FWD certainly do :thumb:

Jude has the 2.0TFSI (for sale) and its great handling.

The Quattros are meant to be not quite so sharp but the RS has been tweaked to improve ;)

I'd expect the RS to be a damned sight sharper than a regular Quattro

It's taken 2 evolutions of the TT and 10 years, but they've actually made one I want! B)

... and the 5pot has gone a looooooooong way towards that :D
