View Full Version : Another TVR bites the dust...

...Well, the shrubbery actually!!

A chap in my road (don't know him at all) has owned a tasty looking Chimaera for about 6 weeks. In fact Gary commented on it last time he was round. The owner and I have been having a little dice occasionally in the mornings on the way to work. I have been using the C32 this week to add a little spice...

This morning my little boy asked me to have breakfast with him, so I was a little late leaving for work. I looked out as I left the house, but the TVR was long gone...

Imagine my suprise and dismay as I spotted the car in the bushes...

Seems he may have got on the power just a little too early on the exit of a mini roundabout.

No other cars involved, and although the driver was not there it certainly looked like the only injury was to his pride.

I feel quite bad now - like I may have been egging him on.

Please help to salve my guilty conscience, Northloop buddies!!

Its his own fault, he should have bought a Cerb.

**waits for the other UB to come and change my quote to say Griff**

Mobile eh?

You obviously never encountered Oakie's.

It rarely matched your description!!

I believe this is a perfect moment to describe the difference between front and rear wheel drive.

FWD = fails to get *round* the roundabout
RWD =fails to exit the roundabout
4WD =also fails to get round the roundabout, but wouldnt notice if it rained...

 :fishing: :thumb:

well it's not really a fair match if you are using your Firebolt.

Mark, Are you OK? You are looking a bit 'rough' or is that 'ruf' in your pic!

Also, not enough abuse in this thread. Hardly worth the effort if you are not going to bite!
