Lack of available funds & lack of decent TV coverage can't have helped :(

I thought Mitsubishi withdrew from WRC a few years ago? :fish:

Next year is going to be a better year for rallying with the new S2000 (2.0 normally aspirated) class and a lot of manufacturers who have withdrawn are currently developing cars to compete in that class! :thumb:

They pulled out of WRC at the end of 2005. They've now pulled out of Dakar and the Dakar series of cross country rallying though.

WRC Ireland results:
S. LOEB Citroen C4
D. SORDO Citroen C4
M. HIRVONEN Ford Focus
H. SOLBERG Ford Focus
C. ATKINSON Citroen C4
S. OGIER Citroen C4
M. WILSON Ford Focus
K. AL QASSIMI Ford Focus
E. BOLAND Subaru Imprezza (privateer)
U. AAVA Citroen C4

Not all that much variation these days...
