They finally arrived at mine at about 2am, we had some beers and retired to bed at 3,30 ish, then up fairly early for bacon and egg banjos and American phycho. Set off for the ring at around 11,30 and proceeded to have some flat out fun down the autobahn, got to Nurburg around 2 ish I think. Dropped the gear off at the bergstube.

watched some VLN.

waited around for the track to open, amen 6,15 it opened, but the car park was so full we had to wait 15 mins to get out. One lap in and we retired for a shower, and get a taxi booked for a trip into Adenau.

Arrived at the CC at about 8,15, Jorg knocked up us some quality food, karl was drunk (your average sat evening) and we watched the dutch get beaten, while getting drunk. Teflon and Andrew plus some customers came in to eat too, fun night was had. Highlight of the evening

karl " can we go home dear, I'm tired and drunk etc etc"

Claire " No I never get to go out so were stopping"

Went into Adenau at about 11 for the summer party, burning logs in the street, great atmosphere lots of people and a great fireworks display. Met Michaela, Andy, and a Drunken Bren and Ross. went for kebab and got a taxi back up the hill.

Got up at 7, turned alarm off, and went back to sleep for another hour. Finally went and did 2 back to back laps, before they closed the track and we went for some breakfast.

Had the full English at the bergstube, Thanks martin. And then we went back down to the track. Closed!! waited, did another lap, Closed again, retired to watch and wait.

Call of nature

Track opened again, But before we could get back up again, it was closed, this time a big one (no details, but helicopter was involved) parked up and waited just up from the Ringhuis, as its probs the best option for avoiding the car park jams.
Some friends from Holland arrived, and we strolled down to meet them, Track re opened and we went out for another lap.

Guys left at 4, and i went home shortly after, and spent most of the time in traffic due to the 50,000 sad dutch football fans coming home, and torrential rain which meant I had to do about 20 mph on the hard shoulder on the 888's.

Thanks again to everyone we met, specially teffers with his text messages lmao.
Karl, jorg, micheala, martin and andy at the bergstube, Ed,Jochen and all the usual suspects. All in all a good weekend for weather and socialising, But spoilt by lots of waiting around and a poorly BMW
