Emma originally from Chesham in Buckinghamshire, always had a liking for cars but after meeting future husband Gary on holiday in 1994 and subsequently moving to Andover, cars have become a major part of her life.

Emma's track experience on the Nordschleife is mainly passenger laps, but would like to say to all those “other halves” out there who think that it is a trip that's not for them ……“Go! Watching is never dull, as a passenger it's always exhilarating…..if a little scary ,and at the end of the day to go out eat steak and drink beer, all this plus you can't beat the people you meet from all over Europe and the friends that you make.”

Since publishing this page Emma done a day at Thruxton driving a Mini and driven two laps of the 'ring in a Rover 45 hire car! Thank you Avis ;-)

Congratulations to Gary and Emma on the arrival of Baby Charley Mai Kinghorn, Charley has the same obsession with the Nurburgring as the others, making her first trip after just 5 weeks.
