After meeting Dave in the year 2000, Clare's love of all thing automobile has grown significantly. After a rather fast lap in John Felstead's Westfield at Donington, and passenger laps there in a few other cars, the seed was sown. The next step was to actually drive on a track!

Dave and Clare took the WRX to Bedford Autodrome for an SIDC organised track day where she got her first taste of track driving. Nervous at first, it soon became better and Clare soon wanted more and more track time which Dave was not too eager to give her.

After several track days and trips to the Ring, the year 2004 changed her life forever - she got her own car! After seeing Ed Healy drive the RIng like a bat out of Hell in his Jean Ragnotti in April, Dave looked at purchasing the UK version, the 172 CUP. A few days later, a 5 month old CUP was sitting on the drive, Clare pleased as punch.
